So let's go back, follow the yellow brick road. As we go on another episode. Journey with me as I take you through this nifty little place. That I once used to call home sweet home.

The World's So Small I'm Gettin' Clauztrophobik

Didn't go to school on Friday, spent the whole of the previous night rushing all the work and ended up feeling gassed out in the morn. and there goes my 100% attendence record for this term, damn i only had 1 more week to go. Oh and Sasha puked 7 times and had to be sent to the vet. Moral of the story: Don't be a greedy pig.

so woke up @ 11+, did somemore work, then headed downstairs for squash session with Coach Francis. Up till now im still puzzled at why he's no longer using the ball rack for my training. I remember the last time he used it, at the end of the session Sean came for his turn and he told me "This guy no need so many balls, expert alr". I laughed it off, only to realize that the next session onwards i wasnt hitting the 200-300 balls from the rack too. might have scared him on the first week when i cramped up so bad that i fell to the floor immobilised. couldn't be that im an expert too, every swing of mine isn't exactly excuted from muscle memory from 1000X repetitions.

Went down to Safra shortly after as there's a friendly with TPoly. played against Calvin, a Yr2, also the captain i think. Close match, my fitness and empty stomache proved to be my shortfall and i lost the last set 7-9. Enjoyed the game tremendously, it's been a long time i played such a close match. got his number, hope we could play once more before the Safra Open.

Birthday's coming, having a BBQ over the next weekend with the whole extended family. they bought 2 bottles of Absolut to be opened on that night. hey i know im turning 18 but why act like im booze-starved and all hahah.

Shall end this with a picture of how my arms look like after the surfeit of squash:

Disproportionate HA!

Robin's in Town!

It's 0247hrs and i just sort of wrapped up thermochem. redid the lecture test and darn i feel stupid but cleverer at the same time. after actually studying, i could do most of it with ease (means to say i didnt when i took the test la). but for the trickier/unorthodox qns i couldnt figure out, looking at the answer scheme makes me go ARGH. cant afford to use as much time as i did for Ionic Eqm when i took 2h to solve a hard qn, jumped of my huge leather chair and do my celebration dance. gotta finish most of maths rev. and do Nov'07, may the clocks slow down and tick by the hour.

okay enough titter-tatter 'bout the shitload of work. Look at the title and yes, Robin Gunawan is in Singapore. for the past few months i could only speak to him on msn when i stayed up late into the wee hours of the morning. he's studying/residing at Santa Monica you see.but in a few hours time i get to meet him in real person at Taka muahahahhaha. that reminds me he's getting me a Houston Rockets jersey, no.1, with the name imprinted being.... T-Mac? WRONG! It's T-Jon!

I find myself suddenly reminiscing the times we had at his Parkshore apartment, together with P. Santoso. the totally retarded things we did, spending a FULL DAY playing X-box, PS2, watching NBA, movies, table soccer and pool. there was once i reached his house when it was dark, and left when it was dark AGAIN. not to forget evenings spent playing soccer next to the kallang river, superb.

we find ourselves being victims of the insidious elapse of time, memories are but mere traces of hourglass' crime.
